Given that things are still a bit slow around here (the semester doesn't start for another week) and I am sick and tired of reviewing stacks of conference papers, I decided to finally do something I wanted to do for a long time, which is install QNXon an iPaq. Last year I had bought myself a banged up, used iPaq especially for this purpose. And today was the day...
In short, I can't believe it all went so smooth, while it could all go so terribly wrong. The online docs are excellent, the instructions crystal clear. The instructions say: The result is spectacular. See the screenshots (not mine, but it really looks this good!). It comes with a complete dev environment. Maybe not complete as good as VC-CE, but this absolutely blows any of the linux-on-ipaq installations out of the water. QNX is a posix compliant system so development is easy.
