Yesterday I wrote about DARPA's early involvement with the development of much of computing as we know it today. For those of you who enjoy a read about the early days of the 'Net, the following is a good read:
A Brief History of the Internet
Barry M. Leiner , Vinton G. Cerf , David D. Clark, Robert E. Kahn, Leonard Kleinrock, Daniel C. Lynch, Jon Postel, Lawrence G. Roberts and Stephen Wolff
The essay is written by those who were actually involved in the early days and is thus pretty accurate.
