Nobody is safe

Very disturbing stories about Stephen Hawking being assaulted.

Allthough the real details are not yet know it brings back memories of the period when the UnaBomber was targetting scientists in the US. Computer Scientist David Gelernter was the target of the Yale bombing, and was lucky (if you can say such a thing) to survive the bomb, but with lasting injuries. This put a deep fear into the academic technology community.

Disturbing to say the least. Targetting scientists is pretty low, but targetting Steven Hawking is a new level of low.

Too bad they didn't give any details. I hope they catch whoever is behind it.
