Dude, where is my network?

Just arrived at SFO and surprisingly T-Mbile seems to be completely off the air. Not only at SFO, but also in San Francisco itself. The smarts only pickup Cingular and AT&T, but no T-Mobile at all. Cingular does allow me to do GPRS roaming on their network, but I am sure they will want to be nice compensated for that.

I am at Embarcadero Center for the coming two and a half days for some intense interaction with industry.

For quite some time, Cingular and T-Mobile shared the network infrastructure in SF, though that will be changing rapidly wtih the Cingular/ATT merger. I have T-Mobile but roamed without additional cost on the Cingular network while I was out there last year. My signal was never anything to write home about though.
