Amazon Move: an FAQ

I would like to thank everyone for all the great email messages and web postings in response to my announcement about moving from Cornell to Amazon.com.

I also received a lot of questions about the move, the job, the family, about Microsoft, about Amazon & .NET, about Amazon's research directions, about hiring, etc. I will try to answer most of these question in a Frequently Asked Questions list; each entry will be an individual posting, but the as the complete list grows you can also read all the entries at the "Moving to Amazon: Frequently Asked Questions" page.
